For the "What's in your Pocket?" project, I had a very hard time trying to figure out what I should design. As I didn't want to choose an obvious object, so I decided to create a lighter. Lighters to me represent light and a spark of an idea (Just like the idea for this project). I had to figure out how to create this entire picture without using access to the internet. First I created a the background and experimented with different gradient styles. I finally found one that made a great transition between the sea foam green, and violet. I used the different shapes and paint tools to create the actual lighter and then rotated it to create an off centre focal point. The light reflection and flame that I made was
